Dermal Fillers

Look and feel rejuvenated.

Over time, our faces begin to be impacted by wrinkles, folds, lines and depressions. Sometimes, it feels like they’re out of our control or our faces lack volume. One solution for many people is dermal fillers. This treatment is excellent at adding volume to areas of your face and filling lines where wrinkles have developed.

Which areas can you have Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers have a wide range of uses, some of which are more common than others. Therefore, before any skin treatment, you will have a full consultation to determine the best options for the look you are trying to achieve. Some of the common areas that our clients have dermal fillers include:

Cheeks: To raise the volume of your cheekbones for a more defined bone structure.

Lips: enhance your lip’s natural shape and volume for the perfect pout.

Chin: Define the chin and jowl area for a beautifully balanced profile.

Tear Trough: To reduce the appearance of dark circles for a brighter, refreshed, youthful look.

Jaw: To define your face for a stronger jaw and overall slimmer appearance.

Neck Line: To reduce the signs of ageing around the neck.

Décolletage: Deep hydration to add volume, fight the signs of age, and revitalise the skin tone.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty: This pain-free 15-minute nose job allows us to perfect your face’s symmetry.

FAQ's

As with everything in life, we want to see immediate results. Regarding dermal fillers, you can expect the “final result” anywhere from 7 to 10 days following your treatment. During this time, any treatment-related swelling or bruising lessens, and the treated area returns to its natural form and elasticity.

Some of the side effects that are common from using dermal fillers include:

  • Bruising
  • Swelling
  • Redness
  • Tenderness

Before any treatment, we will have a consultation with you to discuss your medical history and recommend the best treatment for you. If we believe you may react more severely than the side effects mentioned above, we will not recommend that treatment.

The side effects often reduce to nothing within the first seven days after treatment and are often very minor discomforts. As a result, many clients do not experience side effects, and those that do are often very mild.

We would encourage clients to avoid significant events or strenuous activities for up to a week after having fillers. That said, attending a social gathering on the same day would be fine as the swelling at the injection site often only lasts around 30-60 minutes.

The length of time dermal fillers last depends on a few factors, including the type of filler used, the treated area and the volume of filler used. Depending on the above, dermal fillers typically last between 6 to 18 months.

Although people often feel a slight discomfort with injections, having fillers injected is much less painful than many expect. The application technique usually determines the comfort of the treatment.

Dermal fillers cost around £100 to upwards of £500, depending on the clinic. Things that impact the cost of fillers include the type of product used, the number of syringes used, and the complexity of the treated area.
